Are you adding a new furry member to your family? We will help you all the way from choosing the right supplies, building a relationship and learning how to understand your new family member.
Do you want to build an amazing bond with your dog? We will help you to positively build a relationship with your dog. Help you address any separation anxiety and/or ignite their engagement with you as their new family.
Take your dog to coffee dates! Do you want your dog to go to a coffee shop with you ? Or maybe you just want your dogs to greet the guest respectfully. Either way, building obedience is the way to go.
Are you too busy for daily training? Our day training option is for you! You can relax while we focus on training your dog and then transferring everything learned to you .
Ready for your own personal dog trainer? Our private training offers 1 on 1 coaching solutions in the comfort of your own home or previously set locations to facilitate training goals.
Want to train at any time/anywhere ? Our online training is conducted through video call to facilitate coaching you and your dog during this journey.
Here at Paws Up, we consider that every dog is unique and believe the best approach to recognizing different learning styles is those that come with clicker training and the quadrant of positive reinforcement. We believe in creating a learning environment that is fun and engaging, promotes positive behavior, and makes the best communication and trust bonds between dogs and their owners.
No! Our Day Training services are specifically for those who need more help and might not have the time to train their dog constantly. We train the dog for you and meet with you once a week to transfer what your dog has learned.
We do not train aggressive dogs. Nonetheless, we train dogs who are reactive. If you are not sure if your dog is demonstrating signs of reactivity or aggression we can determine the best course of action during our in-home evaluation.
All pets must be up-to-date with their vaccinations so that we do not risk spreading diseases to other clients’ pets. We do make exceptions for pets who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons, and we do accept titers as proof of immunity.
Training can start early in a dog’s life. In fact, we recommend beginning basic training as soon as you bring a new puppy home, which is usually around 8 weeks of age. Early training helps build a strong foundation for desirable behaviors and socialization.
That being said, it is never too late to start training your dog!
At Paws Up we believe in using positive reinforcement techniques and the clicker method throughout all our training programs.
With 3+ years of dog training experience, Daniela holds a CPDT-KA and KPA CTP certifications. Her approach is based on observation of dog behavior to better understand them and consider their emotions; focusing purely on clicker training and positive reinforcement.
