When life gets hectic and your to-do list feels never-ending, dog training can easily fall to the bottom of your priorities. You want a well-behaved dog—you just don’t have the time or energy to become a full-time trainer. That’s where Day Training comes in.
At Paws Up Dog Training, our Day Training program is designed for busy professionals, overwhelmed families, and anyone who wants real training results without the stress of doing it all themselves.
Let’s dive into how it works and why it’s a game-changer for modern dog owners.
Day Training is a professional training program where we do the heavy lifting for you. I work directly with your dog three times a week, building skills and reinforcing good behavior—all while you’re at work or tackling your daily responsibilities.
Then, once a week, we have a Transfer Session—this is when I show you what your dog has learned, and how to maintain and use those new skills in real life.
Think of it as personal training for your dog, with a coach who hands you the results and teaches you how to keep them going.
There’s a big difference between being coached to train your dog and having a trainer actually do the work for you.
Just like you might hire a personal trainer or tutor to help you (or your kids) succeed faster, Day Training accelerates your dog’s learning by putting it in professional hands from the start.
Here’s what makes it so effective:
✅ Faster Progress – I work with your dog using proven positive reinforcement techniques. Without the usual learning curve that comes with owner-led training, results come quicker.
✅ Consistency – Dogs thrive on repetition and timing. As a professional trainer, I know exactly how to time rewards, adjust for each dog’s learning style, and stay consistent.
✅ Less Stress for You – You don’t need to become a dog training expert overnight. I handle the foundational work, and you get a dog who already understands the behaviors you need.
✅ Real-Life Results – Our transfer sessions are where the magic happens. You learn how to keep the progress going in everyday situations, without feeling overwhelmed.
This program is ideal if:
Day Training is not about handing your dog off and walking away. It’s a collaboration—I build the skills, then I teach you how to use them. You’ll gain confidence, clarity, and a well-trained dog, all without having to carve out hours each week for lessons and homework.
Depending on your dog’s needs and your goals, we can work on:
